I loved that it is an authentic farm house in St. Emillion surrounded by vineyards. Marise was the perfect hostess providing wonderful breakfasts with strawberries, mirabelle plumbs, and tomatoes from her garden. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I loved learning how to keep a farmhouse cool in ridiculously hot weather. I was very comfortable during my whole stay with 100 degree days! I would recommend her beautiful home to anyone and look forward to visiting again! I discovered, on the last night, a wonderful restaurant right next door. Wonderful food and drinks and terrific service and I was parked in my spot at Mariese’s. It couldn’t have been more convenient.

An absolutely charming venue. Our guest was so kind and spoke really great English. The room was huge and decorated with antique furniture. The bird was comfortable, and the views from the window of the Vineyards was great. We had a choice for breakfast, which included her homemade jams and a fresh apricot gateaux. We had a fantastic evening meal right next door our stay could not have been more pleasant.
