Very peaceful traditional Mexican home with character and amazing view. The attentive and very accommodating staff. The breakfast was delicious with fresh regional fruit, a variety of choices for entrees (one specially made off menu item) and homemade baked breads. Plus breakfast was served under a large avocado tree in the backyard. The private pool and view of Lago Chapala!
It wasn’t anything that I didn’t like, just something to consider especially for those not familiar with older houses. The house is traditional and therefore does not have air conditioning. So even though it remains cool, it can become a bit humid in the summer. However, the fans provided in the room and sleeping with the screen door was sufficient to keep the breezes coming in. Again, we were ok with this because it allowed us to be able to hear the harmonious sounds from the lake while we fell asleep and woke up!

It's a nice quiet stay, except for the power outtage problems I discussed below. Nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly.
We've stayed there three times. Two of the times we've stayed there the power went out for 3 plus hours. First time we went there to watch the super bowl on Mexican cable and the power went out during halftime and didn't come back until after 10:00PM. The last time we visited it went out at after we got in from dinner and it didn't come back until 11:00PM. They've got rechargeable lanterns all over the facility, so it looks like this happens frequently. What a shame...
