I visited in Off Season (ie. early Aug) and to my surprise a complimentary breakfast was included each morning - I enjoyed a lovely English Breakfast for four mornings! Very friendly staff, all well-spoken and everyone helped where they could when I asked. Secure parking was a blessing.
One or two little issues, but these were quickly sorted out by the manager. The shower definitely needs a plumber to unblock the drain. Traffic noise could be an issue - but it shows a busy town, so that's a good sign.

Pascals has an arty vibe. It is a GREAT location in the center of Napier and served wonderful food. They were also lenient and accommodated extended family on short notice for dinner.

It all seemed pretty tatty and in the course of this years visit to SA I stayed in various B+B. in the same price range Pascals is at the bottom of the list
