Lovely little guesthouse that I’ve been coming for years, even before it was featured on booking.com due to the staff, location and breakfast! The gardens and forest scenery are gorgeous. Great location as Lumeria Yoga is a few minutes away while there is a good but inexpensive massage place outside.
The buildings are showing their age, and floors and bathrooms are not that clean. There used to be a padi field next to the hotel but it’s gone now - not the hotel’s fault, just the surroundings are evolving.

Beautiful breakfast served to our verandah every morning, unfailingly polite staff - nothing is too much trouble. Great value accomodation, the pool area is set in tropical gardens. In the centre of busy Ubud but once you walk the 100 metres or so down into the valley it’s so peaceful and quiet. This accommodation is traditional with a host of beautiful sculptures and little altars surrounded by ponds and tropical gardens. Our bathroom was private but open to the air with a little fishpond and cascading ferns. Every room has its own terrace with a lounge, marble topped tables and chairs.
Nothing could be better about Kebu Indah but if you want the Hilton hotel this is not it. No vast expanses of shiny modern materials. Also good mobility needed for lots of stairs.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool and gardens. The very large terrace was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.
The only minor thing was a smell in the bathroom. Maybe mold? But not that much of a problem
