Lovely local inn that was very friendly and walking distance to town.

Very good. We only stayed one night as we were visiting universities

The rooms were clean and tidy. It had all you needed for a brief stay. The beds were comfortable.

It did not have its own parking, you had to oars in the street.

Fantastic value! Loved the excellent food places nearby - a great Indian restaurant and a brilliant chippy - Chippsy Kin

Location, cleanliness, facilities, decor, attentive staff

Room is at pavement level, so you can hear passers by if the window is open. But equally, this means it would be excellent for those with mobility issues as no stairs!

Well placed in the center of Loughborough. Very good value. Plenty of parking. Bar on site, very good barman. Convenient check-in and check-out times. Room and bathrooms very clean, bed comfortable.

Heating only turned on post my arrival so room cold. No restaurant on site or close by. Disturbed by other guests (suspect temporary workers) early in the morning (06:15)

You get what you paid for

The location is great and basically, you get what you payed for, this was a last-minute booking on new year's eve and it was definitely accommodating considering the circumstances. All in all its an average place to stay for a very good value, the main point of sale is the 10 minute walk into loughborough town and the 3 minute walk to the tescos.

There was nothing in particular that I didn't like, as I said you get what you paid for. The room wasn't clean but it wasn't disgusting, from what I could see the bed sheets were clean and in a situation where you're paying under £50 to stay anywhere this is to be expected. I do think if I took a blacklight to the room I would think differently though. The main issue that I had really was the stairs to the rooms were somewhat treacherous, late december means that metal stairs are slippery and there are steps that can be taken to ensure increased safety such a grip stape on the edge of steps but all in all it's just an average place to stay.

Good clean room and well mannered staff. Bed had seen better day's but clean and tidy.

Would stay again, lovely staff

Could do with a shelf and clothes hooks in bathroom. A small fold up table too I main room as the only place yo put ure things was the bedside unit between the beds.

The room was clean and situated off a corridor. There was a nice hot shower and it was convenient to be able to enter the corridor from the beer garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to park my car in the pub car park.

The room had no window.

I would have been quite happy with Peacock if the other guests had been vaguely human.

Staff friendly and room and facilities were ok. However stay was ruined by behaviour of other guests. Details in next box.

The stay was ruined by guests in other rooms. Some arrived at 2am in morning, shouting and swearing , and attempting to shoulder charge my door open to get in. I had to open door , confront them to leave me alone and tell them they had wrong room. At 4am another group arrived shouting and banging around. I packed my bags and left at 5am as they had no thoughts of shutting up. This experience makes rating the stay difficult, premises and staff good but overall experience a bit of a disaster. Guess it would be better mid-week rather than Friday with people having a big night out .

Bathroom was lovely. Staff on arrival was exceptional. Good value for money. Students next door did party u til late but that did not stop us sleeping too much. We were all young once

Bargain life saver at last minute. Clean and cheap, but you dont get what you dont pay for.

The room was booked at the last minute because the Premier Inn had lost our booking. The room was clean and tidy. The price was very cheap.

An ensuite would have been nice. The building has some uneven floors and could do with some love.
