The host was very hospitable and accommodating. The location is great and the place is comfortable.

Very nice location and View. Quiet place, within walking distance to the city centre.

Kitchen could use more utensils.

Quick couple's escape for a week in February.

Roberta was a lovely host who we felt very much at ease with. The location of the flat is unrivaled since it's in the hills of Valdonega, a fairly posh part of town. Public transportation to get there was great, too.

great service but I would not come again

It is a spacious nice looking apartment with fully equipped kitchen. The views from the windows are great. The host was very helpful – you just can’t ask more – even though she does not speak English.

However there is a very steep staircase just before the property – the last thing you want after 20 min walk uphill from the city center. There is no dishwasher or washing machine. The bathroom is big but the shower cube is so small I could just about fit into it – and I am average size. Internet was poor – the best signal was next to the toilet. Personally I would not stay here again and would not recommend it for the families with kids or anyone who has trouble with steps-stairs. Yet for the young strong people who appreciate the views from the window and do not need internet – it might be a good choice.

Beautiful old building and garden, very nice views and just a 15 minutes walk from the old city center of Verona. Very warm welcome, easy communication, friendly and welcoming hosts. All perfect, we would definitely recommend this place to any other person visiting Verona.

A spacious, well stocked apartment with a great view, lovely hostess.

Everything about our stay at Casale Mancini was great. A spacious apartment with a great view. Excellent parking for our bicycles. Our host was delightful and lived on site. The kitchen was well stocked so that we could cook a meal each night. The apartment was naturally cool during the day with using shutters but had AC if we needed it. A pleasant walk to Ponte Pietra.

This is a lovely apartment in a stunning location. Very spacious and comfortable and being able to sit out on the terrace was a bonus. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Being located away from the centre meant it was very quiet at night - no disturbances at all. Private parking and a washing machine were also much appreciated.

It's a reasonable walk (15-20 minutes) into the centre, but there are some local shops and a restaurant or two nearby. We were very happy to walk in and out, but it might not suit everyone.

Beautiful scenary, spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood.

This was an absolutely great apartment for the price, definitely suggest when in Verona. We stayed in the apartment that was separated from the main house - it was quiet (so was the neighbourhood), spacious, all necessary facilities there as well as some beautiful decorations. Hosts were living downstairs and were always available, very nice people. The old town was reachable by foot in 15 minutes. There were some scenary routes also around the neighbourhood. Beautiful view. Free parking in the property.

The only thing that wasn't always working properly was the wifi connection - had some troubles there as we were working in distance.

The property is spacious and clean. One has access to a washing machine and a drying rack. On my last day, they allowed me to check out late. That was great, because I was exhausted.

I used the bus to get there. I never managed to get out at the stop closest to the property, not even with the help of various apps. When I explicitly asked the drivers to stop at that stop, they didn't. Consequently, I usually got out at the last stop and had to walk back. This is not pleasant when you are tired after a day's sightseeing, it is dark and you don't know your way around the neighbourhood. There is no supermarket near the property that is open in the evening. Therefore, it is best to stock up on groceries in town before you go to the property to check in. A minor thing: it would be useful to have a caddy in the shower where you can put your soap, shampoo, etc.

Totally recommended. Spacious rooms, kind host, great facilities and a panoramic garden

Casale Manzoni is located on the hillside above the old town. It provides an exceptional opportunity to spend your nights at, comes with an amazing panoramic garden, spacious rooms and a welcoming host. You get free parking and great local advices.

We liked everything but you have to note that it’s 10-15 minutes on foot from the city centre, which could be an issue for some. Either way, you can use the electric scooters that can be parked at the entrance.

The apartment was just lovely, clean and big and fully equipped, Roberta is so sweet and the staff was very very nice and flexible ( we had to late check in after check in hours, had to add additional night for the stay in the last minute) , in addition the apartment has great location, hope i'll get the chance to stay there again 😊

Superb

Wonderful hosts, beautiful building and surroundings, and at a perfect distance as it was walkable to the city centre yet great for people with cars in need of parking. The flat is a really generous size and had everything we needed. We could also check out later than the default, which we much appreciated. We will definitely try to stay here again when we're next in Verona.

The only issue we had was the bathroom door was difficult to open and close because it would scrape the floor.

Excellent location between the city and the Torricelle hills. Best of both worlds.

Beautiful apartment in an elevated setting above Verona with a panoramic view of the city.

Some might find it difficult to walk uphill, but there’s a very good bus service to within 200m of apartment, so it’s not an issue.

It was great!

We were welcomed by the son of the host, he showed us the apartment, gave us a map, showed the historical center. A bottle of good wine from the host. The apartment was perfect for two persons, pretty close to the historical center, beautiful location. Just perfect!
