Paisible et très propre

La quiétude de l’emplacement et le petit déjeuner très varié et copieux.

Rien juste pas l’habitude d’avoir les wc et douches à l’extérieur de la chambre. Mais tout ceci n’est qu’un détail.

Thanks for everything, we feel very satisfied about this hostel.

Before we came here, me and my friends had booked 8 mixed dorm room. When we arrived this hotel, receptionist offered to us 4 mixed room without extra money. Because this room is available. It is very kind. Also they give to us travel tickets. We used to use all buss in the bern town free thanks to this ticket. In addition, breakfast(5/10) and towel are free.

I think, breakfast is not enough and same every day.

It’s situated in a very quiet place close to the downtown. The room was absolutely fabulous and super clean. The toilettes and the showers are separated from each other. The breakfast is jaw-dropping!! I got pretty late to Bern, but the receptionist, Joanna was super kind and helpful. She gave me a map, so I went to discover the city in an old skool way. I got to see everything in 6 hours as she told me how to navigate myself through thr lovely Bern. ☺️ Many thanks from Tibor, Hungary

朝ごはんが値段の割に十分なバイキングでとっても美味しかった。ワーキングスペースやキッチン、シャワーやトイレも豊富で一人の時間をゆっくり過ごすことができた。夜中まで使えてありがたかった。

ベルン中心地から遠いこと。旧市街に行くには気軽に戻ってきにくい。11月末で寒くてスーツケースを引いていくのはストレスだった。

Ein sehr gelungenes Hostel-Konzept für ein nachhaltiges menschen- und umweltfreundliches Leben!

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Es wurde aus Bio-Zutaten und Fair-Trade-Produkten zusammengestellt - angefangen bei der Milch, über Joghurt und hausgemachtem Bircher-Müsli sowie Orangensaft uns Kaffee aus fairem Handel. Das Hostel liegt nicht direkt im Zentrum, man erhält mit dem Einchecken einen Fahrschein für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in Bern, sodass man kostenlos zur Innenstadt und wieder zurück fahren kann.

Klare Empfehlungen

Super organisiert, alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Ich hatte bereits vor dem Aufenthalt einige Fragen, die schnell und unkompliziert beantwortet wurden. Das Zimmer war ruhig, Lampe an jedem Bett, ein Schließfach ist mit eigenem Schloss nutzbar. Das Ticket für den ÖPNV erhalten alle Gäste in Bern kostenfrei, dadurch war die Distanz zum Bahnhof auch kein Problem. Die Küche war groß und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist inklusive und hat nicht enttäuscht, die Zeiten (7-10 Uhr) sind auch mehr als genügend.

Das Hostel ist etwas übers Gebäude verstreut, einen guten Ort zum Treffen und entspannen gibt es nicht so richtig.

Nice peaceful place to stay for short city trip

location is near to city and near to gurtenbahn - easy walking distance. bus stop next to hostel (3-4 stops to city). staff super friendly and helpful. breakfast self-service but all you need, help yourself and friendly staff around (sit inside or outside garden). clean toilets and showers for rooms without own bathroom.

Value for money hostel in Bern

Breakfast was very good. Bread was very fresh. Muesli was divine. There is a range of food including healthy seeds, watermelon and freshly cut apple. Possibility of cappuccino, hot chocolate, espresso etc. Also, premises were always very clean.

It did not look much appealing but it's acceptable. When there are many people, kitchen seems small.

I highly recommend it. Switzerland is known for its high cost of living, but Hostel 77 Bern was very affordable. First of all, the breakfast is abundant, with many items. They also provide warm milk and various other options.(the milk and oatmeal being organic products) They offer fruits too. After having breakfast, I felt satisfied throughout the day. Additionally, the rooms are spacious, allowing plenty of space for personal belongings. They provide clean bed mats, blankets, and pillows with fresh sheets. The shower rooms and toilets are clean and spacious as well. Moreover, all the staff members are very friendly and helpful. When I checked in late and lost my key, they were extremely kind and assisted me. (I hope that others don't have to experience such situations.) I am grateful that they suggested storing my bag in the storage room in case I lost it. Oh, and the transportation is excellent. There is a train station and buses that can take you to tourist attractions about every 10 minutes. If you go to Bern, be sure to visit Hostel 77 Bern. It's the best.

staff was very helpful, let us to park longer than originally planned breakfast was ok, but could be better (more meat variety or scrambled eggs would have been nice)

Room was cheap looking, no tv, no shower, no toilet (these are stated beforehand, so not a surprise), like a dormitory. Nothing unexpected, but still low quaility to the price (though Bern is anyway overpriced, so still this was the cheapest)
