I loved my stay at Sarisa house! Such a comfortable spot with private rooms and super clean common spaces. Sara is wonderful, kind, and super helpful and I ended up staying here for multiple weeks. Would recommend for short and long term visits. The location is nice because it is a bit quieter, out of the center of Iquitos, and easy to get a tuk tuk ride anywhere at anytime. Thank you for everything! If I am ever back in Iquitos I will definitely be coming back

This was a return visit to the hostel where we had left our luggage while we did a jungle trip. It almost felt like returning home because it is such a lovely friendly place. All my other positive comments were in my first review.

What made it really special was the wonderful, friendly, super helpful Gisella who runs the place. She's a truly lovely person. The building is nicely done up and is attractive and comfortable and it's great to have the terrace. The working space on the lower terrace for those who want sit with laptops plugged in is really useful. We didn't use the kitchen, there are plenty of little local restaurants within walking distance, but it looked clean and well equipped and others were using it.
It is slightly out of town, but we knew that. It's only 10 minutes by motortaxi, if that, and an easy 25 minute walk.
