The views of the sea are spectacular and the town is very quiet. As well, the property manager Antonio was a true gentleman, very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Access to the home was a nightmare. We did not know that the car could not be driven close to the house. We had to park kilometers away up a cliff (20-30 euros per day) and carry all of our luggage down 250 steep stone stairs in the blazing Amalfi heat. Not very well described in the listing. Conca Dei Marini is a cliffside town divided into upper and lower sections. As the house is situated in the lower section, you should be aware that there are ZERO stores for you to buy groceries, get an ice cream, or even go for a walk. You are forced to buy your groceries at Amalfi or eat at one of the three restaurants at the beach and pay their inflated prices. Or walk up the 250 steps and take the bus to the upper part of the town. Also, the home itself is built into a cliff which is quite lovely and picturesque, HOWEVER, this causes the entire home to be quite damp and musty. All of our clothes had a smell and wet feeling to them. As well, the bathroom, specifically the shower, is not the cleanest. There is a great deal of mold and mildew in it. Finally, once you are down at the house, if you wish to access Amalfi without using your car, there is only one option.... an 8 Euro per person small boat ride, and that is one way! For a family of four, that is 64 Euros daily! Given that price, one could simply stay at Amalfi or Positano instead. The entire listing needs to be more transparent in its description.

Location was excellent, the house is built right in a cliff and just 1-2 minutes from the beach and restaurants. The view from the terrace is amazing

The house is very humid and during the night you could feel that everything was wet, so it wasn't the best sleep.

Location was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect little place with 2 beds, a great kitchen, perfect view and a few steps away from the cutest beach!

The pictures are confusing and can make you think you're booking the whole thing. But it is individual condos. So be sure to ask if you're booking the top floor or the middle. There is A LOT of stairs to climb to get down to the place (Still worth it)

Nearby beach is amazing and only a few steps from the apartment. In the morning and after 6pm it is basically empty. We felt having a private beach. 🙂 Fully equipped kitchen is super useful for some 'lite' self-catering when you are fed up with pasta and pizza from the trattoria.

Be equipped with bus tickets and breakfast as the only grocery store and tabacconist are 1000+ steps up in the village. Nearby restaurants serve only 'restaurant dish' and pizza 11am to 6pm (at least in Sept) Humidity causes musty smell esp when you are away whole day and the window is closed.

Beautiful place full with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful view and small, yet perfect, balcony.

300 steps to go down to the apartment if you have a car, or you can take a boat-taxi from Amalfi.

View is beautiful, beach close by is super! Restaurants nearby are nice. Location is nice and central for visiting highlights of Amalfi coast

In my opinion this location was the best on the whole Amalfi coast. Far from the noisy and madding crowds of Amalfi and Positano with amazing views from the whole apartment inside, even the bathroom, and yet close enough to walk to Amalfi if you miss the bus. It was hard to leave the apartment because it was so serene and you don’t need to - just sit on the balcony and watch the whole world. The beach is a stones throw away and the restaurant owners down there are very friendly. Once they were closed for the day I’m sure we were the only ones down there. We could have easily stayed another week, or 2, or 3! Apartment had a well stocked kitchen and thank you for the beautiful limoncello and red wine! Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet emanuela but communication with them was very prompt and good. If ever back on the amalfi, this will be where we stay. Don’t let the steps put you off - it is well worth the effort to get down there and a backpack is always handy! Thank you for a fantastic stay!
