The 2 pools were fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our vacation. The hotel was clean, the food was delicious, and overall everything was very well organized.
There were only two things we didn’t like. First, with the half-board package, even water is not included during dinner and has to be purchased separately. We understand charging for soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, but having to pay for plain water at dinner was quite disappointing.
The second issue was the way the managers treated the staff. While we were having our meals in the restaurant, there was always a supervisor watching the employees and frequently criticizing or scolding them over minor things. It was uncomfortable to witness this as guests and created an unpleasant atmosphere.

Breakfast and dinner were both well catered for, with a good selection. Lots of very good (and inexpensive) restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk if you want to have a change of scenery. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. One beach is next to the hotel, a better one is 10 minutes walk away. The hotel pools were good too.

Location of hotel, pool sizes nice balcony
Felt like just another number, staff not very welcoming as if they didn’t like working there, no “welcome to Ariadne, no Kalimera from any staff. Pool surrounds were sticky, grubby tide line, nobody bothered showering to get in the pool, no signage for the pool toilets, sunbeds were old. Pool bar staff (young man) arrogant, pool bar too small and dingey. Breakfast felt like a canteen rather than a restaurant, flies and wasps all over the food, generally felt neglected and unloved. Upon checking out, no “how was you stay?” I suppose they’re too scared to ask! The hotel has potential and could be quite nice, but it was as if people had stopped caring
