James welcomed us and answered all our questions in addition to providing us with a map and great ideas about places to see. His English is excellent and his welcoming attitude is even better.
The room was adequate for our needs and clean.
The pillows had plastic covers which made noise when i moved my head. Not so great for sleeping.

This was a great place to stay! The owner is friendly and helpful, speaks great English. The hostel is close to the intercity bus station and also minutes from the market and bus to Seoraksan. Breakfast is included and there is a kitchen as well. 10/10!

James, the manager, was very welcoming and helpful. He immediately showed me on the map what there was to see and do and gave me great recommendations. It was really helpful for planning my stay.
Honestly, there was nothing significant that I didn’t like.
