beautiful renovated cottage, clean, functional, with WiFi, drinking water and outdoor seating, grill

the surroundings are littered with many ruins of houses, probably from the time of the war related to the breakup of Yugoslavia, it seems a bit depressing

We stayed 4 nights in this lovely cottage nearby Plitvice and other beautiful sights.

Beautiful house in the middle of nature. Sometimes you could spot wildlife in the backyard. The owner is very kind and helpful and the house is very comfortable.

It was nearly perfect. Only the shower certain was broke and should be renewed. But that was no big problem.

Perfect stay close to Plitvice Lakes

It is very peaceful, quiet and secluded from the main villages and streets, and seemingly very traditional for a vacation home, had one of my best times of relaxation from the noise and the crowd of big cities. 😀

There are no major complaints about the stay, nor the house maybe except for the fact that the lighting outside isn't very lit to surround the whole area during the night but it is really understandable, I do personally stay inside during the night so it's not a problem for me 😄

Location was nice, you are the only one in this place. Comfortable beds and place for BBQ

No microwave, it will be much easier to warm some food if you have it

Great house for family

the house itself is beautiful with natural surroundings! spotless clean inside ! very thoughtful hosts - kitchen with basic appliances,pans ,pots ,oil and seasonings so we could cook our own food . outside area you can have a fire and chill out area . Rooms and beds are comfortable,tv with loads of channels, we watched few fairly new films on HBO which was nice ! You just feel really welcoming before your trip and hosts were very helpful, will text you back straight away! National Park is very close,we came for my husband’s marathon so it’s handy for us.we were all very happy about the nice house and people! I’ll highly recommend it !

it’s remote so will need a car .

The house is great, and provides a unique experience of staying around the woods. We did BBQ, and it had a great facility. The ownwer was very nice, and welcome us with coqies and a drink.Thank you, and I highly recommend this place Yehezkel Halifa.

Fantastyczny!

Fantastic location, peaceful and quiet. Spatious. Beautiful landscapes around, very close to Plitvicke Jezera, yet free from the holidaying crowds you see elsewhere. Charming and friendly hosts.

A magical stay!

Absolutely loved this place. Secluded and quiet set amongst the beautiful countryside. Warm And cozy fire inside and relaxing drinks by the outdoor fire. Just loved it!

What a gem! Fantastic Holiday Home!

Well, what can I say about this hidden gem ... a group of 4 of us were visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park, and Nikola and Natasa’s house was perfectly placed to serve our needs. It was incredibly smart and clean, and in the middle of the most wonderful countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life but close enough to be just a few minutes from the park, restaurants and shops. The house was really large, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, double room on the ground floor, and a huge upstairs floor with 4 more beds and a sitting area. The spiral staircase was great fun, and the traditional wood burning stove in the kitchen made sure everywhere was amazingly warm. The internet was perfect for our needs, and we didn’t need the TV due to cooking dinner on the amazing open range grill outside, with grill tray and equipment all provided. Nikola and Natasa’s parents met us at the property on arrival with the wood burning stove inside and grill outside already lit, and a plentiful stock of logs. Comms were easy and Nikola easy to contact on his phone. The fresh crusty bread and fruit were also an added treat that we didn’t expect - thank you so much for a brilliant stay!

Nothing at all - it was absolutely outstanding value for money for the four of us traveling together. The spiral staircase would challenge anyone with limited mobility, but there was nothing else that was lacking or needed improving! Thank you so much Nikola and Natasa for allowing us to stay in your wonderful holiday home!
