The location was perfect, really close to the old town, beach and marina. Great views onto the water. The room itself was nice, pretty large and fairly well appointed. Don't be put off by the scaffolding, it's a shame it's there but it didn't impact our stay. We had a balcony room which was great and was still accessible despite the scaffolding. Once you enter the large apartment where the room is located, you forget about the building work and it's like you're somewhere entirely different, beautifully decorated and well appointed with super helpful staff that are super responsive on Whatsapp.
It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold. There was a fridge outside the room that was more used as an honesty bar. I think it was missing quite a few items and had a half eaten tomato in there. Again, not a massive problem and we ended up putting some wine in there to chill.

The room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very informative and helpful. This is an amazing piece of history to stay in a building like this.
Outside the apartment complex the building is under construction and you have to go through a building site to get to the apartments.

The accommodation was very central and room a good size
The host was good with assistance bia WhatsApp
I booked a room with a sea view and balcony the whole building was covered in scaffolding and so views were obscured- this was not mentioned beforehand.
There was no balcony despite me specifically booking a balcony room and on speaking to the host she said someone else had that room.
I especially wanted a view and balcony if they had said we had neither I could have booked a hotel further along the front.
My upset is that they were not upfront and offered no solution- the entire building is old and needs renovation and i assume the scaffolding will be there somewhere time so I feel that they should be transparent in the description.
I queried with booking.com and they have failed to respond
