The location was so handy, but also beautiful. The contact from the owner was great and there was free parking too. The accommodation was great, pretty and perfect, having a small kitchen for when you wanted to chill at home. Breakfast at the local cafe was amazing too.

A good conversion of an old property with a useful bonus kitchenette
The internal stairs are a tight spiral staircase totally unsuitable for those with larger bags - luckily we were on the middle floor and didn’t have to use them. There was a significant amount of mould in the shower and the dishes in the kitchenette had not been properly cleaned. Owing to a ZTL, it is not possible to get to the property by car with parking a modest distance away and downhill.

The position of the flat, close to the centre but at a high point looking down, was quiet, charming and rewarding. Parking was possible, with awareness of market-day restrictions essential. Breakfast was offered in a local cafe and was very generous. To stroll down and zig-zag up Via Raffaello was a delight and the cultural gems in the centre simply magnificent. Our host did everything possible to help us.
If two 70-somethings managed the steep incline leading to the accommodation, it should be fine for most others, but it remains a significant ascent. The top flat is accessed via a spiral staircase which was a tight squeeze when one had to haul suitcases to the flat - but was a delightful feature and a clever use of the space available.
