It was my first time staying in a hostel and honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. Super clean, affordable, great host, met some super cool people and I’m just sad that I couldn’t stay longer, but for sure I will be back!

Good location, a short walk to the cliff and to Black Beach. The room was basic but clean and fine for the price.
I booked here specifically because it markets itself on social atmosphere and staff-organized group activities. When I asked the front desk what was happening, I was told I could go kayaking in the mangroves on my own. Nothing was organized during my stay and there was no attempt to connect the few guests who were there, despite an automated welcome email that talks a lot about community. Yes, August is low season, but there was still no effort. Separately, be aware that I gave over 48 hours notice before leaving early and was charged in full for the nights I did not stay. They applied their own policy correctly, so this is not a complaint about being wronged, just a heads up that there is zero flexibility.
