Fantastic value for money. Simple hotel with good beds, clean-smelling sheets, and exceptional breakfast. We had two teenagers and after the night climb up to the top, the rotis and coconut sambal kept coming. The manager is a man of high integrity, trying to figure out the best for his clients for the best prices. For example, we went out of season and there was a landslide blocking the regular trail. He organized a local guide to take us up ahead of our arrival for a very good price… and he also helped us with transportation onward likewise for Pick-Me prices (as pick-me is not available out of season).

The location was superb — we were right on the trail to Adam's Peak, so there was no need to wrangle a tuktuk to get there.
Plus, the owner truly went above and beyond to give us a wonderful stay. The room we'd initially booked was on the ground floor, but the owner said that that would likely be too cold in this weather, so he upgraded us to a room on the first floor. We got breakfast and dinner for the two nights we were there, and everything was delicious!
The water shut off just before we headed out on the trail, but everything was resolved when we got back — just in time for a nice, hot shower.
If you're used to certain amenities (i.e. a electric kettle, TV, etc), I should warn you that this hotel doesn't have them. The plus side is that the owner is happy to make you a cup of tea whenever you fancy, and the WiFi's strong enough to handle streaming Amazon Prime or Netflix.

This is above and beyond value for money and the perfect location if you want to climb Sri Pada as it's right on the trail head. Rooms are clean and comfy, and we were even brought a bowl of coals to heat the room in the rainy season. Food is excellent and plentiful, a massive breakfast greeted us after we got back from the sunrise pilgrimage hike, and the hosts were so lovely and attentive. 10/10
Some power outages with heavy rain, but it was fine.

Really good advice on how to get the most of the hike. What to look out for and how to beat the long ques. The breakfast was great!
The room was crappy, it seemed like the shampoo was a something left behind by previous guests, and shower and toilet was in bad shape. The host did not seem to really know what we had booked. He asked me to check both price, wether breakfast was included, and when and what we had booked. It just seemed unproffesional.
