Nous avons un peu peiné à trouver La Chiusa dei Monaci (la Serrure des Moines) à Castelmuzio. Sur ce coup, Google plus performant que Waze. L'entrée, un étroit chemin cimenté, n'est pas indiquée. Un logement avec terrasse et la vue que nous espérions. Un mélange harmonieux de couleurs et de lumière comme dans les fonds des tableaux de Léonard de Vinci. Et une vue magnifique sur le village. La chiusa dei monaci, un point de départ idéal pour visiter le Val D'Orcia et ses paysages de cartes postales: Montepulcino, Pienza, San Quirico D'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, l’abbaye de Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Montalcino…
Comme souvent en Italie, les appareils ménagers de la cuisine sont rares. Mais une cafetière permet de faire un caffè à l'italienne.
