Warm welcome in a mountain village

It's not often that the owner is watching out the door for you, much much better than having to attempt a phone call in Spanish to say you have arrived. Although he had little English he was able to get his messages across. Of course the beer left for me in the fridge and the bag of crisps may have swayed me in this review. Apartment was a good size although this was reflected in the price. Breakfast was well above average for Spain. Town is squeezed in between slabs of limestone high in the mountains. An unusual place and I was glad the apartment had decent central heating for a cold February night. Handy place to stop on GR7 footpath (which is part of the E4 Long Distance European trail).

Unusual to be asked how much I needed to pay.....

Superb

The apartment was perfect, excellent heating and a wood fire too so it was never cold. Very clean and well equipped. Plenty of nice walking routes around and great food too, both in the restaurant below the apartment and in the others in the town. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place.

Exceptional

What a wonderful place! We immediately felt at home and had everything we needed. Friendly & caring host and amazing location for nature-lovers! Breakfast was very nice as well. Hope to be back soon.
