This is a truly authentic farmhouse stay out in the countryside. The house itself is well over a hundred years old, but it was furnished comfortably and the bathroom and toilets were new and clean. Mr Tamaki the owner was also very friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. He added a heater to the room when we told him the room was cold the previous night, and served coffee both mornings.
The bedroom was on the second floor of the house, and being a wooden house was extremely cold in the winter. Mr Tamaki added a gas heater for the second night so it became a lot more bearable.
