Niedliches und stimmiges kleines Hotel, sehr zuvorkommendes und mitdenkendes Personal, das Frühstück war fantastisch, wir haben uns rund herum wohl gefühlt und wirklich gut geschlafen.

Super freundlicher Empfang durch Frau Ramona ☺️, die uns auch vorab schon gute Tipps und Empfehlungen gab; sehr stilvolle Einrichtung in barock-antik-opulent, was uns gefällt und gut zur Burg passt; die gesamte Burg-Außenanlage mit Garten ist wunderschön 🤩 und auch der Frühstücksraum - ein großer Wintergarten; das Zimmer und der tolle Blick aus der Burg, das Bad und kostenfreies Wasser; das Frühstück war extrem vielfältig und mit einigen leckeren Besonderheiten im Angebot, mit viel frischem Obst und Gemüse - das hab ich in der Form sehr selten erlebt! Wir kommen gern wieder!

It's a really nice cosy hotel, ornately decorated and very comfortable.
Frau Hacker was very welcoming and helpful.
Our rooms were very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable.
A good selection of self service late night drinks were available from the refrigerator, with the trust of the owner that guests write down what they had, which in today's world is very nice.
The breakfast buffet was great with a good selection to choose from.

The hotel is in the old part of Schlitz. Many old half timbered houses in the style of this area of Germany.
The English of the employees in the hotel is a catastrophy. I would expect at least basic English for a hotel where I have to spend 105 Euros per night (without breakfast: 12,50 Euros per person) in the middle of nowhere. Other 4 star hotels in this area take 95 Euros (without breakfast). The restaurant situation is the other point. There is one pizza place (restaurant La Gondola) and one other restaurant (Muiskpub) were you can eat, forget the rest, what ever they tell you in the hotel.
