Close to the station, lovely place, very very clean, quiet despite being right on the main road. There’s also space for parking on site (didn’t use it because I don’t have a car but there was lots of space). There are also two supermarkets nearby (about 500-600m). If you want to reach the center of Trakai from here you can easily use Bolt, very cheap and widely available.

I would invest in thicker curtains to keep out the light in the morning. I didn’t mind because I had to wake up early regardless, but if someone wants to sleep in they may be bothered by the light.

Beautiful location and hosts were very nice. Hosts let us use paddle boards and kayaks which was really fun.

THE MAIN STREET (TRAFFIC) TOO CLOSE TO PROPERTY

The room itself is very new, clean and modern. The host was excellent, very nice and very helpful. The accommodation is located a beautiful 40 min walk along the lake to the castle. It was nice for one night. We didn't have the best weather, but would have been lovely to enjoy some time on the dock and in the water.

The photos provided on booking.com gave me a different impression on how the layout of both the house and property was vs reality. I had booked the lake view, and based on the photos, I was expecting a balcony with 2 chairs and a lake view. But unfortunately the view was a very minimal and through a smaller window in the room. Based on the description, I was not expecting other people to be sharing the top floor, we had a private room but there were two apartments on the top floor. I was also not expecting there to be another house in between the rental house and the lake, so if you did take a chair out onto the shared balcony you would have a view of the other house vs the lake. The two houses share the water front, and you are only a few metres away from it. Finally other reviews stated that you can not hear the main road, but you can, it's not too bad, but you can definitely hear it. I just want to help future bookers, and I would still recommend it, it's a very beautiful little place, but I just wished the photos better represented what I had purchased.
