It was a great experience and stunning place to visit! Never done an over night cruise and I perhaps will not be my first choice, we were a bit worried we were not going to like it. We only done 1 night perhaps 2 nights is recommended if you want to have time to relax, it is very full on experience. No regrets at all though!! The sunset and waking up to those views is a great experience.

The ship is a litle outdated but this makes the experience perfect as the view is just breath taking. Every staff is great specially Mr Bang and Miss Jess. Food is good and a great selection of wines. and drinks. I will be back... The suite and bathroom that we took was big and great views, it also had a big private deck and jacuzzi. This is a wonderful experience, you must do it!
On the best suite at the second floor you get to smell the fumes from the engine. Life has its trade off...

The boat was clean and the food was excellent . Well organised
In general, halong bay feels over touristed. But, the cruise was good.

The whole boat was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were spectacular for their service and friendliness.
That the process for activities were not explained well. I expected that we would use the main host as our base but for the cycle trip we were transferred to a day boat and were not informed of the facilities. We wore our swimwear and packed minimally, but once finished swimming it would have been nice to have a change of clothes as we were unaware of the showers etc on the boat.
Additionally the whole trip is tainted by the amount of rubbish in the sea and beaches. Whilst it is picturesque for the natural beauty this is then ruined by the shear amount of floating plastics.
