We booked a night’s stay at the Bhaya Cruise but were then upgraded to the Au Co Cruise instead. We had an amazing experience as a group of four with a beautiful view at the Halong Bay. When it comes to the cruise, that was packed with activities considering it was only for a day, and the rooms were very comfortable and felt luxurious, with all the necessities. The food was also really good, with a plethora of options inspired by the local cuisine. We had a vegetarian in our group and they were looked after really well. The biggest highlight however, was the amazing cruise team who took excellent care of use. Every single staff member, from the F&B team, bar, kitchen, reception and brilliant musician were outstanding. Everyone was really attentive and efficient, and I want to give my huge thanks especially to our Cruise Manager, Joy, who made our safety her top priority. I would strongly recommend this experience for anyone visiting northern Vietnam looking to get a glimpse of the marvellous Halong Bay.
There was nothing we did not particularly enjoy, everything was top notch!

The pickup and dropoff for transfers to and from Halong Bay was great and we had a good, careful driver. John our tour guide was great.
The trip was quite rushed. I didn’t rate the food. It was average and seem quite westernised with odd combinations. The brunch was huge and nobody ate it all so there was alot of food waste. It would have been better to celebrate the Vietnamese food which is so delicious. The bay where we kayaked had quite abit of rubbish. It would be nice to see some efforts going towards getting this cleaned up- perhaps the Bhaya company because they take so many tourists there could help in some way.
