We were upgraded to Bhaya Soul shortly before our sailing, and the three days and two nights on board ended up being the highlight of our whole trip to Vietnam. The cabin was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and both the food and the daily programme were thoughtfully put together. We never felt rushed, and we never had to work anything out for ourselves.
A special mention for our butler, Harry. He was there whenever we needed anything and never hovering when we didn't. That kind of attentiveness made a real difference to how relaxed we felt.
The floating village was the part that stayed with us. We also joined the night squid fishing and the early morning meditation in the cave, and both were more fun than we had expected. Bhaya's boats also reach parts of Ha Long Bay that other operators can't get to, so there were far fewer tourist boats around us, which gave the sailing a real sense of privacy. There is a spa on board you can book as well, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed.
The Wi-Fi at sea is not very stable. That is to be expected out there though, and you come to a place like this to take in the scenery rather than to stay online.

Une croisière absolument parfaite, vraiment un 100 % ! Tout était impeccable : les lieux d’une propreté irréprochable, une chambre magnifique et des repas vraiment délicieux. Mais surtout, un immense merci à toute l’équipe, qui a été incroyablement impliquée, serviable et attentionnée du début à la fin. Nous avons été véritablement chouchoutés pendant toute la croisière, avec une attention portée à chaque détail.
Un merci tout particulier à la manageuse de la croisière et à Will, son second, pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur professionnalisme. Ils ont largement contribué à rendre cette expérience exceptionnelle. Nous recommandons à 100 % !

Nos hospedamos em um quartinho “muito fofo”, parecendo o cenário de um filme antigo.

Boat nice, room too, but we had premium room

For this price I was expecting at least glass of wine for dinner, but all alcohol was paid and very expensive
