Great location, a few run down the stairs to the center of MC/ the Casino or the beach.
The building has a nostalgic charm with its weathered watercolor hallways, rusty balcony ironwork which make even more special having breakfast facing the sun rising with an almost unobstructed view of the sea.
The flat is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable with a nice modern bathroom and kitchen.
The host is friendly, very responsive even during the weekend and spontaneously offered useful local information.
Overall, a rather pleasant stay. I will definitely come back!
With the rustic charm comes a less practical side, there is no elevator (although it is a short flight up).
The bedding is a bit basic and would have needed better ironing. Also, a set of smaller towels would have been necessary.
Some of the furnishings could use a little attention or replacement (curtains, carpet). With a little more cohesion in the decor making each room feel intentionally curated, the flat would be truly stunning. Nevertheless, the flat has a quite good price/value

What’s not to like. Beautiful apartment, clean, amenities were good and a lovely view to sit and sip vino with.
I have to admit my favourite part was the sofa bed. I don’t know about other places as I’ve never thought about it, but I messaged Laurent regarding making the sofa bed up and he informed me it was already made up and to just to pull out. Wow! A revelation to my future stays in places. This was perfect, bed by night and straight back into a sofa for day. With 2 kids, space is needed so loved this.
Lauren’s communication was brilliant and very useful and straightforward.
Washing machine AND. A dryer!!! I was in heaven. We chose this because of the washing machine in between visits to different places so I was very impressed with the facilities.
Bonus is because you’re actually in France and not monaco itself, you can book Ubers, we did this to get to ventimilia train station. You do have to walk up to the town hall but it’s short.
We only discovered there’s a small shop on the next street up, we only discover this because we pulled luggage up and round the corner to get to the town hall to avoid the steps.
It’s a heck of an uphill climb lol. We used taxis a lot from down in Monaco which was super easy. It’s worth it though.

Not that i dont like .
Just a pre infos for next guest .
AC will be effective in an Hour .
And Small annoying frequency Sound comes from Ac
But Building maybe 100 years old , so it is ok.
Wifi may not work , so Check . İf not , Tell the Host he will reboot it .
And if You dont switch shower handler 180 *degree it will leak all day . Not 179😀
And for betterness .
You gave coffee and Sugar . But if You can also give one time use milk Powders maybe .
Other thing , please give some spesific Sticker on keylock .
Because people mistakenly try my Doors.
Also i did others . We dont know exactly 1-2-3 floor exactly . Thank You for everything .
