There was a very loud, sudden noise that would sometimes occur a little while after turning on the water. It was quite startling and honestly made me jump every time. I assume it was related to some kind of water system. The fridge door was quite difficult to open, and the toilet tank refilled very slowly. I mentioned these issues to the host, and she said she would have them fixed.
That said, none of this stopped me from having a wonderful stay. I actually spent a lot of time at the apartment because I enjoyed being there so much, and I really didn’t want to leave :)

Our stay at Highvill in Astana was absolutely fantastic. The apartment was spotless, modern, and super cozy — exactly like the photos, maybe even better. The view from the high floor was stunning, especially at night when the city lights up. The building itself has everything you could need: secure entrance, quiet hallways, fast elevators, and a great location with cafés, shops, and parks just a short walk away.
Communication with the host was smooth from start to finish. Check-in was quick, and they were always available for any questions. Overall, this place felt like a perfect mix of comfort, style, and convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily rent here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Astana!
