Rooms: The room is very spacious and decorated in a neo-bourgeois style, which doesn’t always fit together perfectly. There is an open wardrobe with a drawer, a chest (with drawers) with a TV on top and a minibar hidden inside, and on the opposite side a double bed, a small table with a kettle and a few tea bags which, truth be told, weren’t very good (too old?), plus some complimentary bottles of water. On each side of the bed there’s a small stool serving as a bedside table. A washbasin is located directly in the room. Unfortunately, there is no hook for hanging towels next to it. A hairdryer, vanity kit, soap, shoehorn, etc. are provided.
Next to the room entrance there is a very small toilet, where it’s hard to turn around, but it serves its purpose.
Opposite the entrance is the shower. The water drained too slowly, suggesting a potentially clogged drain, as the water was collecting and spilling over the edge (using a normal water flow).
The bed is king-size but too short and far too soft, making it uncomfortable and resulting in poor sleep and some back pain in the morning.
The room is well soundproofed despite one of the city’s main roads running past the hotel. The only noise is coming from below.
Internet: very slow and therefore unusable for video calls – only about 7.5/5 Mbit DL/UL.
There is also no desk in the room, even though there would be enough room for one.
There is no price list for the minibar (or it was hidden); I paid €4 for a small Jägermeister.
Access to reception is through a low doorway via a very narrow staircase.
Staff: friendly, but the receptionist’s English is very limited, which makes communication difficult.
Breakfast: served in the hallway/foyer downstairs. There are fresh bread rolls, buns, croissants, vegetables and fruit (apples, bananas, pineapple, melons...), yogurt, butter, honey, jam, tea, coffee...
Mattress: too short, poor quality, poor sleep comfort .
Parking: limited parking place, away from hotel.
Pretty slow WiFi, gets interrupted constantly.
Limited English knowledge (or any other foreign languages).

The rooms are well-designed and well-equipped, clean and cosy. The bed is big, absolutely fitting for a family with a baby. The hotel is authentic to the building. The location is nice, and all kind of facilities (shops, bus, train) are in walk-distance. There is a rich selection for breakfast (continental).
+1 for the staff, who were very helpful, kind and were always smiling.
The breakfast starts late (8:00 AM), the dedicated parking area of the hotel is not in front of the hotel and some anti-slip tapes should be applied on the shower area and on the painted stairs in the room.

Historic building in excellent location and very comfortable room. The breakfast was good and the restaurant overall as well. The staff is friendly and professional.
There is no parking at the hotel and to park in front of the building in the public space is expensive for Czech standards.

Attention to detail has come down significantly. Breakfast quality / selection is well below what we experienced during our stays over the previous two summers. Staff seemed mildly disinterested. Shift in restaurant concept to Korean cuisine is fine but feels rather limiting. All would be acceptable if the price was 30-40% below current rate.
