We would stay here again!

The apartment was very clean, bright, and nicely furnished and it was wonderful to have two bedrooms (one with a king-sized bed) and 2 bathrooms since we were traveling with our teenaged daughter, as it provided some privacy and convenience. The kitchen provided plenty of dishes, flatware, glasses and mugs, and it was terrific to have a full refrigerator and large table for the option to eat at the apartment. Because it was unusually warm outside, we also quite appreciated the air conditioners. The property was very convenient to the open air market, the beach, excellent gelato and crepes, and some shopping. The owner was responsive with regard to our booking (although I inquired about the availability of beach items like an umbrella or towels and did not receive a response). It was nice to have the option to wash clothes if necessary and there were large drying racks provided.

We found it inconvenient to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, and inside the apartment the master bedroom and bathroom (with washing machine) were up an extremely steep and narrow flight of stairs that we found somewhat dangerous. Although there were three bath towels provided, the owner did not provide three hand towels and we had to buy another hand towel. Since there was no housekeeping service, we had to wash the towels ourselves as there were no extras. Also, we would have appreciated if the owner would have provided a beach umbrella and beach towels as those items are impractical for guests to bring while traveling. In order to use the beach, we had to purchase beach towels in town and went without an umbrella. As some other reviewers have mentioned, it got quite loud outside on some nights due to partying in the streets below, although we were not overly bothered as we had been forewarned. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives, and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Antibes (although we would request a lower floor) as we had a very good experience.

spacious, well equipped, ’ good air conditioning, close to a lovely little beach, very close to several restaurants and shops

noisy with restaurants all around, and the church bells woke us every morning at 7am and they rung several times a day

Typical from the côte d'Azur. The location is great, so that should be enough. No real care. Money !

The location was perfect, as expected.

The shower wasn't fixed and was either very hot or boiling hot. It took an hour to boil the water as the cookers are probably too hot. The keys which were left led us to a single bed appartment, which is a little bit small for 5 persons. We had to go up and down the building to at last find a young person who realized he had been led to the wrong appartment, and accepted to switch appartments. We had tried to call the owner before, but no answer.

Exceptional

Spacious and inviting, clean and warm. Bed in our apartment was firm and exceptionally comfortable. Awesome to have space in ensuite bathroom and laundry facilities. Easy to dry clothes on clothes racks provided. Well stocked kitchen facilities and ability to have meals. A fabulous feel in a great street superb location.

Excellent stay in Antibes. My Rima was very really clean and had everything we needed for a 3 day visit. Great location!

Excellent location, very clean and well maintained property. Perfect for a 3 day visit.

As mentioned in other reviews, it was noisy late in the evening until the restaurants were closed. (The noise we heard came mainly from the restaurant below when they were cleaning up after closing). But the location for exploring the old town was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay in Antibes and the unit met our expectations

The location was very central to the harbour and old town .I liked the fact that the unit had a washing machine,

The bedding was a big disapointment .The sheets and duvet cover were washed but not ironed . The bed was not made up . The duvet cover is faded and has seen to many washes

Wonderful we would recommend and return

Alain was an extremely accommodating and responsive host. Apartment was in the heart of a bustling town right across from the most delicious ice cream shop and tapas restaurants. Apartment was quiet, clean and modern.

Sometimes sewage smell in upstairs bathroom but understandable due to age of buildings and presumably associated plumbing. Interior of apartment modern and perfectly clean.

A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN ANTIBES

The apartment was perfect for myself and two daughters. It was location in a very central area of Antibes, minutes from the beach, restaurants, cafes and shops. The air conditioning worked really well which was a huge plus in July. We would definitely stay here if we are in Antibes again.

The bathroom in the top bedroom is open to the bedroom just separated by glass bricks.

Antibes is such a quaint town. Accommodation great for young adults but not for kids

sadly the aircon in the living area was not working and stairs to the main bedroom very steep. Although it’s a good location it was very noisy

This is a lovely modern apartment right near the Marché provençal. if you can deal with 42 steps to the 2e étage (3rd floor), you will be fine.

Lovely experience, would come back

The accomodation was VERY clean, clearly the person who is in charge of cleaning takes their job very seriously. Nothing smelled funny (on the contrary, the towels and the bedding smelled nice), and even if you looked hard, there were no dirty nooks. Great job! We also found the beds to be very comfortable. Spacious room that almost has anything you need. Enough storage room, cooking utensils etc. We especially loved the storage space in the bathroom. There were enough counters to put all of our stuff and we still had room for more. There was no need to put anything on the floor or something like that, which I really appreciate. That is something I have rarely experienced in a rental (or hotel). The host was always very quick to answer my questions. Upon my request he also shared a restaurant recommendation (Da Cito), which was absolutely lovely as well. We had great service there and visited it twice. Also the location of the rental is wonderful, we visited the nearby market and bakery every day and got some fresh produce for our breakfast (and sometimes dinner). It's very convenient. We were very, very comfortable in this rental, I would most like definitely return if I ever go back to Antibes.

The rental is on the second upper floor and the stairway is quite narrow. We did not mind, but others might. If you are a light sleeper, this rental might not be the best because of its central location. We could hear people from the bars and eateries every night, but as we sleep very well, it did not bother us. You can also hear noises from the rental above. The electric kettle seems to be malfunctioning. It didn't turn off on its own, so we had to do it manually. Could be a potential fire hazard. It would be nice to label the rooms somehow as there seem to be more rentals in the building. We had strangers knock on our door twice during our stay (asking if XYZ is staying in this room). When we arrived we were also quite unsure which was our room. Maybe you could hang something on the doors and label the rooms like that (eg. the 'flower room', the 'fruit room' ...).

Location was absolutely amazing. Beautiful clean apartment. Beds extremely comfortable. Antibes is gorgeous, and this was a perfect base for enjoying it.
