The shower was equipped with a waterfall and handheld wand, so it suits everyone and the pressure was great. The hairdryer and accessories were appreciated! There was a music player on softly in the background when we arrived that made it homey.There was adequate light around the room and the bathroom had a door. There was a kettle and coffee set up but we didn't make use of it. The hotel was quiet and easy to access by walking or by car. There were restaurants in the area, and we highly recommend Daimyo Ramen & Sushi nearby - smaller venue, but awesome food! Best sushi I've had in a long time.
We arrived in the afternoon and there were no staff on site nor were they answering the phone. We could not get into the hotel. We had checked in online and were given a QR code, but have no idea what it was for. And it was not how to open the door. To open the door you had to find a task on their website that states How to Open Door and use your smartphone like a hotel key card. NO where in their welcome and check-in messages did it state that. I spent over 30mins trying to figure out how to access our room. Thank goodness the torrential rain had stopped by then!! Once in our room we found one of the dresser drawers to be broken and it would not close and blocked the entry door. There was also an accumulation of dust on the lamps & cord and around the bench.

We were given a "crime scene" room. The room has everything you need: a hair dryer, hair tie, soap and gel, towels, a kettle, and other toiletries. A nice touch was the cotton swabs, pads, a sponge, a nail file, and even a needle and thread. The room is clean and cozy, check-in is easy, and it's very convenient to access the room from your phone. The location is also good—a 10-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral.

The design of the room was very curious. Enjoyed it a lot. The staff were super friendly and the coffee was available with cookies at the reception. The easiness of check in and check out is very handy too. The location was perfect. 12 mns to the Dom
We were unlucky to come when it was a scorching day , though, the problem was not with the hotel as its not a typical weather for Germany. We had AC in the room though it didnt help.

Location is very good and rooms are clean
Staff told us we were too loud in our own rooms at 8 am, instead of telling guests off they should invest in sound proofing. Also the art concept is nothing inspiring at all.
