We loved the calmness & relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good, beds are good

Il resort è in collina, ben soleggiato, con una piscina illuminata dall'alba a metà pomeriggio. Il giardino è molto ampio eppure riservato, gli alberi ombreggiano bene gli spazi comuni: i due ulivi secolari, il filare di bagolari, le querce che chiudono il viale (sebbene alcune purtroppo malate) e i giovani platani e pruni nessi a dimora nell'insieme restituiscono un ambiente rilassante e curato. Le vigne che degradano a valle, pronte per la vendemmia, si contrappongono alla macchia boscosa dell'altro versante, creando un insieme armonico.
Le stanze sono ben curate e ben pulite.
Lo staff è giovane, preparato, professionale e molto disponibile.
Nell'insieme, il resort mostra che lo spirito che lo anima non è solo offrire una residenza per chi è in vacanza ma avere cura del territorio e amore per i dettagli e per il servizio offerto.
La colazione, pur abbondante, ricca e curata, potrebbe essere ulteriormente migliorata nei servizi espressi (le uova strapazzate avrebbero giovato di una migliore cottura). Una abat jour su entrambi i lati del letto, o comunque sul tavolo, aiuterebbe a gestire il menage di una coppia in cui c'è chi si alza molto prima dell'altro.si può pensare alla raccolta differenziata?

Very beautiful place, details oriented from a design point of view. Spaces around are well maintained, they have bikes available and a beautiful garden for picnic, even if they don’t provide service for it during low season. We addressed a complaint about the pool that was not available, however they tried to accommodate our request successfully.
Missing opportunities for services during low season.
When we arrived, the pool was closed and it was not mentioned in the confirmation of our reservation, disappointing everyone very much, especially our kids.
Also many services included in their description were missing, such as the welcome bottle of wine and room service. We brought to their attention that we didn’t receive the mentioned bottle of wine as a welcome, and they said they would shortly give it to us, but never received. They kindly gifted us with wine when we left though, for all the inconveniences during our stay, and it was nice from them.
There was no bar at all, and no reception after 8 pm, so in case we would need anything such as water or something else, we would go to the first supermarket available very far from there. We arrived quite starving, and unfortunately there was no chance to get food anywhere near, not exactly what we were expecting.
For breakfast, we had to decide the day before and order it way too in advance; kids change their mind very quickly especially about food, it also happens to an adult to change mind about breakfast from a day to another, so it felt a bit unpleasant.
When we arrived I asked the concierge a list of activities to do in the area with kids, unfortunately as resort they didn’t have much of activities to offer, and I ended up finding something by myself. Luckly they had bikes, this service was complementary.
It would have been nice if they could offer us the possibility to do at list a picnic in the beautiful garden they have, this is a package they could definitely offer to their guests and it is a big missed opportunity.
During our stay cleaning was not included for stays shorter than 3 days, and I ended up cleaning our apartment. Not exactly what I was expecting since I always do that at home and I really wanted to avoid that on holiday.
