The location was excellent - right in the centre of town. It was essential having AC in the room during the hot summer months. Even though the fridge was shared and in a common area, it was still useful to have one. The room was a reasonable size and relatively clean.
The overall furnishings were a little shabby.

The location is simply unbeatable - right in the center close to many attractions and restaurants, the main street is right around the corner. The owner of the, even though she didn't speak English, is very responsive and kind. The room itself was well cleaned and nicely decorated, I especially liked the balcony - the view from there was quite nice with a direct line of sight to one of the town's hills. To my surprise the room had air conditioning, even though it was marked as one without it, which was a fantastic thing since it was sweltering hot outside. The AC is one of the portable ones, but it wasn't very noisy and it was easy to fall asleep while the room was being cooled. The room had a teapot and some cups for your beverages.
As already mentioned in previous reviews the bathroom is shared, which I feel like is not clearly indicated, but it was rather clean and always available during my trip, so I have no qualms about it.

Good location, comfortable bed, good price
Only cash, the communication with the host was a bit difficult, the bathroom was quite dirty, and the aircon console was not great

Good location in the city centre and easy to find. Room was clean but pretty basic with little storage space (one very small wardrobe/closet). But it did have a kettle, cups and glasses and also a TV.
No wi-fi in the evening. It only worked when staff arrived at 9am and switched it on. You have to pay the receptionist for your stay but they don't take credit cards - I had to go out and find an ATM to withdraw the money (not good if you're in a hurry to catch a train or plane). Bathroom floor gets very wet because of the way the shower is positioned.
