Owners were very nice. Room was clean and we also liked a possibility to buy a breakfast. Swimming pool is a nice benefit. Just a few minutes by car is a supermarket and cross the street is very good Indian restaurant.
The neighbourhood is not nicest so if you don’t have car I would consider to stay there. On the other hand the location is quite convenient if you want to travel to the South and even to the North of the island.

Freundliche Gastgeber und sauberes Zimmer/Bad. WIFI und TV umfänglich und gut.
Gemeinschaftsküche befindet sich im privaten Bereich der Gastgeber daher auch nicht direkt zugänglich.

Marina and Phillipe were simply superb hosts and took care of us right from our very delayed arrival into the early hours of the morning to chemist supplies and a beautiful dinner when we were not well. They arranged a car rental and checked very unintrusively each day to make sure that we had all we needed. The location in the centre of the island was a real taste of Mauritian life and we were only disappointed in our own inability to not get lost!
We do not believe our hosts could have provided more for us, from washing to assistance. We would recommend Chez Marina to any couple who want to experience Mauritius other than as a beach resort.
