The house is lovely, very traditional but with all necessary items for a comfortable stay. The yard is big and lovely, a little stream running at the back. The village is quite charming as well.
The lady managing the building helped us retrieve some forgotten items at the property very swiftly.
The rooms upstairs have no actual door but a curtain to offer privacy but zero sound barrier. Also because the house is an actual converted barn, even the bedroom downstairs gets a lot of noise from upstairs even when using the bathrooms etc. It's okay if you're a close knit family but otherwise ....
We were waiting over an hour to be checked in for no apparent reason. The lady managing the property sent us off to a nearby cafe while she got the house ready even though we agreed in advance of the arrival time. I even texted her when we were nearby. Also there is a sizeable dog on the property and he is there to stay. The lady insisted he will not be removed even though there is no mention of the dog at all in the house description. We insisted on it being removed as we had a small child with us and also another very small pet that was agreed upon prior to booking. The dog apparently belongs to the occupants of another house on the premises (which is also not mentioned in the house description). The dog was eventually removed without any mention by its owners but the whole thing was quite unpleasant. It really put a sour taste to the whole experience.

Wir wurden sehr persönlich empfangen und fühlten gleich dass man sich um uns sorgte. Alles wurde versucht liebevoll zu machen.
