Everything, I love nature/farms so this was paradise to me. I have been twice now, a few years apart and two different seasons (summer vs winter) and loved both experiences. It borders on a nature reserve which you can walk up to (bit steep in the beginning but a lovely hike after the initial bit which you can drive up). Listening to the crackle of the fire in the evening and the rain falling mixed in with the roars (of lions) from the neighboring nature sanctuary... Pure bliss. The accommodation I would describe as classy rustic, with all the creature comforts (lovely linen and anything you could really think to need). Its a simple, wonderful place to stay and I will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely neat spacious chalet with everything you need. Even electric blankets on the beds.
Appreciated the fresh water & firewood too😊
Lea is a wonderful, friendly caring host & made us feel at home.
Lovely views of the area from inside & outside. Sounds of the lions on the farm next door was also amazing.
We will definately be back one day, we never got to explore the reserve area walks as it rained. Very good value for money.

Lea is a fabulous, caring host and makes you feel at home. The facility is basic, exactly what you expect of a river cabin, but very functional. The tranquility, beauty and ambiance cannot be bought. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone that wants to spend time in nature, away from the ordinary day-to-day city life
The weather could have been better, which would have allowed time to explore the farm!!

We stayed in the Heritage cottage. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and quaint. The farm and nature reserve are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The hosts, Lea and Guy are friendly and welcoming. We had a perfect weekend stay on this working farm.
Nothing comes to mind. I wouldn't change anything. The accomodation and venue exceeded our expectations.
