Nice location, things to do nearby.
Bar was closed. Private event had finished and we were looking forward to a nightcap. Maybe having a little bar are for residents would be nice. Just a small thing but makes such a difference.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and nice tea/coffee making facilities. The shower was good, plenty of hot water and large fluffy towels.
The staff on reception were very helpful
There is a very good cafe next to the hotel, not expensive.
A lack of clothes hanging space, my room had a bathroom towel shelf with three coat hangers on it. I couldn't reach the shelf bit, it was too high.
The bathroom lacked any shelves to put your toiletries on, and the lighting in the bathroom was poor.
There only seemed to be 1 USB charging port, so an adapter is needed if you have more than one thing that needs charging.
This is not a criticism, but for information. There is a large car park attached to the hotel, it is £10 for 24 hrs, however, I was told that a long stay car park a few minutes walk away was £3.10 for 24 hours.

Great location
Staff lovely
Rooms clean and really nice
Only thing was breakfast in the morning
No one said what to do , take a seat how it worked , once we sat down someone did come over after about 20 mins to take our order, then came back 15 minutes later to say it would be another 20 minute wait as there was a wedding party

The hotel bedroom was very nice, well decorated with a big comfortable bed.
The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and polite.
The breakfast was very good.
The bathroom needs a deep clean. There is a heavy build up of black mould around the shower tray and skirting and on the tile grout.
