Salim and his family is super cool, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Wifi is strong. Rooms are clean and tidy. The hammock place is fantastic.

I loved my staying at El Curichal. The staff was super attentive and kind, and the pool was definitely one of the best parts of the experience. Rurrenabaque is a special place.

I had a wonderful stay at El Curichal Hostel in Rurrenabaque. The hostel is a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing after exploring the amazing nature of the area.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I especially loved the swimming pool, it was clean, refreshing, and the perfect spot to relax.
The atmosphere of the hostel is great, with a nice combination of comfort, nature, and a friendly environment. I truly enjoyed my stay at El Curichal and would highly recommend it to other travelers visiting Rurrenabaque. I would definitely come back again!

The staff are so nice and friendly!
The pool set up is quite dangerous… it’s a raised pool with only one set of stairs going up to it which are blocked by sun loungers and people lie around the edge of the pool. You have to jump down over a gap onto a tiled floor - my husband slipped whilst getting out of the pool onto on the wet floor and subsequently broke his finger… the staff were lovely and got him ice etc. though, but I think the stairs need to be kept clear.
The room was SO HOT, the ceiling fan did absolutely nothing
