Very noisy street with music blasting all day. This was a Sunday so i imagine it's worse on Friday and Saturday. Music did stop about 9pm but suddenly at 1am it started blasting even louder, ridiculously loud from right outside the window and this went on for 45 minutes. It felt like i was sleeping in a nightclub! Air conditioning was good but the power went off twice in the morning for an hour each time and during that time the room got so hot i couldn't breathe.

The staff is very friendly. One night of our stay we decided to book a cabin in Tayrona beach and since the staff did not see us coming that night they got worried and they told us the next day that they were about to call us to check on us and make sure we were good. That was a nice gesture of them.

The pillow are not very soft,. The bathroom is kind of small and maybe they can add a shelve in the bathroom so you can place your things there (toothpaste, body lotion, hair cream, etc)

Great location, really lovely friendly staff. I was floored with covid in arrival and ended up staying a lot longer. Everyone was helpful while I recovered, sending out to pharmacy and food in my room.

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and just like what was shown in the pictures. Room had air conditioning which was definitely needed as Santa Marta is very hot during the day. Overall the hotel is clean and quiet during the day which allowed me to be able to relax.

There were a few things I didn't like but the staff was able to correct them, so no complaints with that because they were very open to make everything as right as possible. However there were two things that the bathroom had that just bothered me. One was that there was no shower curtain for the shower which was very weird. So when I showered the water went all over the bathroom floor. The manager told me that the rooms are fairly new and newly renovated but who remodels a bathroom and doesn't think to install a shower curtain? This should have been there once the bathroom was finished. The other thing was the use of a toilet paper wheel dispenser (like you find in malls, schools, or airports) with the super hard, one-ply paper was a big disappointment. Had to go to a store nearby to buy a soft roll because that paper wasn't great. The dispenser was also places on the wall above the toilet instead of the wall in front of the toilet which made using it very awkward. Again like with the shower curtain, who thinks of these things and thinks that was a good idea for a location? Finally, and this had to be mentioned separately, is the location of the hotel. As other reviews mentioned, during the day, the location is great as it is only four blocks from parque de los novios, with all its restaurants and bars and such and six blocks from the beach with all those attractions down there. HOWEVER, like many other reviews stated, at night, the location is HORRIBLE. The block the hotel is on, as well as the area it is in, gets deserted like a ghost town and the streets are quite dark. I didn't feel safe walking back to the hotel (my first night I arrived back close to 11pm and the other days between 6-8pm) even at early evening hours. And this is even returning from parque de los novios only four blocks away. Very sketchy. As a solo traveler, this is a definite consideration and one that would make me very hesitant to stay there again in a future trip.

Excellent hotel, in a great spot in Santa Marta, with really lovely and helpful staff. All in all an excellent stay, would recommend to anyone in/ around Santa Marta.

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were clean, bathroom, and shower very clean. TV with English channels and streaming. Breakfast was prepared for each guest and served. I will say the benches in the breakfast room were uncomfortable. Did not make for relaxing over morning coffee. The coffee was wonderful and served immediately when you sat down. Location was very good, short walk to beach and restaurants, shops.

We had a room in the second floor. It was on the side of the street and had one window. The porter said that we won't hear the noise from the street, but we did. If you are a light sleeper, we suggest choosing a room without window.

have in mind not ideal for solo travelers. it’s more a place to rest and have some comfortable private rooms for a good price, if that’s what you’re looking for!

There was no table in the room. When asked for some furniture, the man from the staff brought a chair but said that he thinks 'they' will not allow him to move the table to our room from another even though it was empty. There was supposed to be a fridge in our room, but it was missing - we used the common one, so not the end of the world, though. The common kitchen is very badly located (in a passage), and even though there was space for a table to sit at, there wasn't one. The laundry service in the hotel was 3x more expensive than in a place nearby.
