We had a very warm welcome and Carol even came to pick us up from the railway station! The view over the estuary from the breakfast room was stunning. Access to the kitchen facilities at any time. Access to the internet and catch up TV was very useful. Facilities to store food and drink were also appreciated. Plenty of fruit provided. David also provided very useful information about local walks.

Overall, the room was very clean, and there was a beautiful view outside the window. The location is fantastic. You can walk into the town within about 15-20 minutes and then into Haverig in probably about 45 minutes to an hour. It's a nice place just to chill out and relax.

There's not a huge amount to do in the town itself, so if you're looking for nightlife, then it's probably not going to be suitable, but if you're looking to relax, it's perfect.
