Location is great and staff was helpful! Also great value for money.
Shower seemed quite old and was hard to work with. I would recommend investing in more modern or easy to use showers. Also, the room got quite hot and I couldn't get the AC to work.

I was here for four nights but I extended an extra night because I loved to be here. I had a spacious and very clean room with a view on the river and a balcony, I could access the common kitchen and make a fresh salad after going to buy fruits and vegetables at the market. The breakfast is also great at the hotel and it is a perfect spot to go visit Amarante city and explore some hiking trails along the river. A plus is that the common areas are full of art, beautiful paintings, older pictures of Amarante as well as old Portuguese decor and home furniture.
