Location was amazingly close to EVERYTHING! Room was good size with great balcony and large king bed. Roof top HEATED pool was beautiful and the bar and views were a treat. Breakfast was over the top with champagne every morning and an extensive buffet and menu.
Bed and bedding wasn’t the best and the Lobby lounge was cozy with a great vibe the the tiny bar area was awkward and tucked away in the back- it could have had more presence.

We stayed at the Lagos Avenida Hotel for two nights in October as a couple and loved it. Our room was superb: spacious, spotless and beautifully finished, with a lovely view over the marina. It was a real treat to wake up to.
Breakfast was a highlight. There was a fantastic spread with plenty of choice, all fresh and good quality, and it set us up perfectly for exploring Lagos.
The rooftop pool bar was a great addition, and we made good use of it even in October. We can imagine it getting quite busy in peak season, though.
A couple of things to be aware of. The toilet and shower are in glass cubicles rather than behind solid walls, which looks stylish but doesn't leave much privacy, even as a couple. There's also no on-site parking. The hotel uses a garage about a five-minute walk away and charges around £9 (€10) per 24 hours. That's manageable, but worth knowing if you're arriving by car with luggage.
Otherwise, the location made it easy to walk to the marina and the old town. We'd happily return and would recommend it to any couple visiting Lagos.

the location of the hotel so perfect for our purpose; meeting former colleagues for a few days. Central for the activities our host had planned. Staff was very friendly, room was fine, breakfast good. What more do you want ?
