Lovely cottage, that had all we needed for our week's stay, the garden was beautiful, as was the village and there were plenty of walks nearby. The local pub was excellent, and the village incredibly peaceful. The cottage is very well stocked including basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, marmalade etc, and the owner was great at keeping in touch prior to the stay to make sure we knew access details etc.
The cottage has an adjoining internal door to the one next door, we knew this when we booked, however we didnt realise how much this would affect us, the door is very thin and we were very aware of the noise from next door and therefore felt we also lacked privacy, the beds were also incredibly hard.

It is very cozy and in a good location. Plenty of lovely walks in all directions. The only pub was dog friendly, but although it is open until 9pm, they refused to take a food order at 8.15pm so we only went there once. We didn’t stay for the full week, left two days early, because there was nowhere enclosed to let our dogs out, they are being trained, but their recall is not good enough yet!
It is dog friendly, but the garden is shared by the two cottages and the people next door had a dog who hated other dogs! Also ours are small and could have easily got out of the front garden, under the side gate. The adjoining cottages are not sound proofed you can hear everything, which made our dogs bark so we actually had to take it in turns to sleep downstairs to keep them quiet.
