Excellent property by a small lake. Indoor, conservatory and outside seating. Peaceful and a great place to relax - as well as being a good base for our Northumbrian trips. Parking spot clearly marked in small car park.
Kitchen was very well equipped, clothes washing facilities too. Clean, well equipped and comfortable.
Really enjoyed our week!
Find key boxes a bit difficult although a good idea.

Waterside location
Maintenance between guests needs attention. We had to report a shortage of china and the ice box was UNUSABLE due to icing. We were told that there is not sufficient time between guests to attend to iceboxes - this has worrying implications.. The outside furniture could have been cleaner. Car parking is badly organised which led to difficulties, especially when it came to putting out the refuse bin.

Close to the beach and pub/places to eat. The sun room was a delight, great for sorting the dog before entering the house and the underfloor heating made it super cosy. Comfortable furniture and beds, although we found the double on the small side and too low! Great that we had a washer and dryer to use too.
The whole place could do with a bit of TLC, everywhere is getting a bit tired and needs updating but we still had a lovely week.
