Nice host there were drinks in the fridge

There was no tv at all for the time I stayed and most of the time I stayed there was no wifi but in the end I got wifi!

The host made an effort to be helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. It is about 4 km from Oude Markt, and bus number 4 provides convenient access to the city centre. I rented a car, so getting around was very easy for me.

The bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests, which can feel a little less private. The internet was not working during my stay, although I believe this was only a temporary issue.

The owner is really nice and helpful. He speaks good German. I love the garden in the back where you could take your coffee and just relax. There is enough parking space. I would definitely go again! I had one day a little surprise with a sweet, delicious bread with butter in my room. That was kind.

Well, not that I didn't like it, but you are able to lock your door from inside, but not from the outside. It would be nice if he could change that? Just an idea. But, overall everything was great and thankful there was a place like that.

Jan was a great host and provided thorough check-in process. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and the rooms were clean. The WiFi was good and the rooms had everything needed.

If you are a non smoker, this may not be the place for you. Smoking is allowed in the common areas, and there is a strong smell of smoke throughout the house (even on the third floor). Unfortunately, we didn’t realize this although we later found some reviews mentioning it. For us (non smokers) it was borderline unbearable. We closed our doors as much as possible to keep the smoke out. I do think it should be mentioned in the listing itself, because someone with asthma could have a big issue. We chose not to use the living room, kitchen and back patio because of the smoke smell. The rooms cannot be locked from the outside, only from the inside. While the listing mentions hotel, it is actually a single home and I think the host also lives there.
