Room was very small.

Parking on site which was much appreciated. Our room was VERY small but in fairness that was what we had booked. The room was clean and we could make a tea/coffee. Felt very safe. The Bar and restaurant downstairs were super and we had a nice dinner and drinks which we were very pleased with.
If you book the small room it really is small and there was only a small window that we could open so on a warm night it was a bit stuffy. Also putting cushions on the bed in such a small room isn't helpful as there really was no where to put them. The stairs up to the rooms are reasonably steep so this would not work if you have mobility issues.

Local to where I wanted it. Clean comfortable and well presented
Not a major problem but the stairs were a little bit steep. Breakfast was available from an excellent nearby cafe, but it didn’t open till 9am, so I had to go without on the last day as I was already on my way home by then

Very noisy downstairs but it did go quiet before midnight
