Beautiful apartment; needs a few improvements with housekeeping

The apartment is beautiful. Everything in the bathroom and bedroom of excellent quality. Good/easy communication with the host.

When we arrived, the cup on the bathroom sink had dirty gunk in the bottom (looked like toothpaste) and a used towel hanging on the towel hook in the bathroom. This was unfortunate, because the rest of the space was clean and well cared for. Written directions to the apartment would have been welcomed. It's easy to get to and close to the train station if you know which way to go.
