We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Milan, and the host, Angelo, was incredibly helpful & responsive throughout our visit. We travelled with kids, and the apartment worked really well for our family, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a family-friendly base in the city.
The location is superb, it’s right near Porta Garibaldi, surrounded by shops and restaurants. There’s a great kebab shop just downstairs, along with a Spar supermarket right at the building entrance, so you’re never far from a quick bite or groceries. Chinatown (Via Paolo Sarpi) is literally across the road, which added a lovely variety of food options nearby.
For anyone driving, the Duomo is about a 10-minute drive away, and Navigli is roughly 10–15 minutes as well — both very manageable. The apartment is also just up the road from the area’s best bars and clubs, so it’s ideal if you’re after good nightlife without having to travel far.
The apartment itself was spacious for a one-bedroom, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, with a massive TV screen for evenings in. A lovely touch was the courtyard, the ambiance there was really pleasant and added a nice, relaxing, safe feel to the building, which was great with kids around.
All in all, a fantastic apartment in a brilliant location, well suited to families as well as couples. Highly recommended!
