The VIEW was outstanding. Made the long trek up the stairs worth every step

No lift. But again, worth the extra effort to see that view. The bathroom not connected to the room made late night potty breaks difficult, but it was overall fine.

This location could not have been any better! The view from the window is exactly what the photo show and Emma and David were so nice! The room was very clean. The bathroom is right across the hall but was not an issue whatsoever felt still very private and was very clean. They even gave us some amazing pastries in our room before we left.

The only negative is that it was on the fourth floor and no elevator so if you have a big luggage like us, it’s a chore, but still think it was worth it! It wasn’t a negative to me, but if you don’t like any noise at night, then this may not be the location for you, but we absolutely enjoyed watching from our window all of the locals and the tourist literally about 300 people all dancing and singing in the streets right outside of our window from probably 945 to 11:15 PM and it was so much fun to watch and to listen to

Very central. Room was ok though not exceptional.

No tea coffee makes my facilities, there was a kettle and cups but no tea, coffee, sugar or milk. Whilst I was there the front door was locked myself and other residents were effectively trapped it was annoying not mention dangerous. You have to climb 4 flights of stairs, not for the unfit.

Location. That’s about it.

Brace for a bit of a read, but worthwhile if you’re actually considering booking this. 1. Noise - it’s located right at the Duomo - with that comes noise, all day long, worst from 9 pm - midnight EVERY NIGHT. The buskers set up shop right outside and the sound reverberates down the narrow street, and it sounds like it’s in your room. Not to mention that the crowds they get add to the noise. If you have no plans to sleep, ignore this point. Also, if you’re thinking “oh I’ll sleep in” - nah brah, the church bells go off at 7 am, 7:30, 8 am and so on. We didn’t sleep for all 3 days. The host should really have these points in the description. 2. The 4 flights of stairs are a slog, yes doable, but brutal if you have big luggage, all the power to you. Not to mention that coming and going to the room - you’re probably doing these stairs 2-3 times a day. 3. The wi-fi barely worked for the 3 days we were there so if you’re relying on it, don’t. 4. We were reminded 4-5 times about paying the city tax - 36 euro for 3 days, which is more than any place we paid throughout France and Italy. 5. The shower needs replacing or a deep clean, there were broken pieces, and calcium build up making the water shoot right at the glass. And lastly, the disgusting headboard…. It’s old and peeling, and you get bits of it landing on your head if you happen to rub your pillow or hand on it 🤢
