Mas Château Blanc

The property itself was very nice, with private gated access and parking beneath a sizeable car port area. It provided a very good sized bedroom and bathroom facilities, and a large and relaxing pool area with several sun loungers and a rear terrace area to accommodate breakfast or a place to sit and relax with a book. However, the actual location was a significant walking distance from Avignon and so the rental car was a necessity for any occasion we visited Avignon (every evening for dinner and a couple of other occasions during the day). The breakfast was generally very good, with croissants, fresh fruit, cereals and bread (you could add ham or cheeses) and plenty of coffee or tea.

Whilst the breakfast itself was very good, the slight issue was that the only cooked item were eggs and these were cooked by the residents (not the owner), and only boiled eggs were on offer, so no scrambled, no fried, no poached, no omelettes as the boiled eggs were in a very specific boiled egg machine (hence the reason the residents did these themselves). Also, if the original made pot of coffee ran out, then the only coffee was by way of the coffee machine, and whilst the coffee capsules were OK, actual fresh coffee is more our preference. The other issue was the room service. During our 6-night stay, the towels were not changed once and we were advised on arrival that if we wanted items such as a bed making service, these would be extra, which we found extremely disappointing. These above items may be fine for others, but in my opinion, these were significant shortfalls which detracted from our stay.

A wonderful stay at Mas Château Blanc We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mas Château Blanc near Avignon. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were so warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful they genuinely could not do enough for us. They gave us some fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. We also loved being able to use the bikes to explore the surrounding area - such a lovely touch and a great way to see more of the beautiful countryside. The breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully fresh, with fruit from the garden and fresh bread. It was those thoughtful, personal touches that made our stay feel so special. Our room was absolutely spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, including a coffee machine which was a lovely bonus. Mas Château Blanc is a truly special place, but what really makes it stand out are the wonderful hosts and their genuine hospitality. We felt so well looked after throughout our stay and would happily return. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Avignon area. 🇫🇷❤️

Mas Chateau Blanc, is beautiful, peaceful, perfect to replenish the body and mind. My son loved the swimming pool. Fabianne and her husband are excellent hosts, very kind and accommodating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, the shower was top!
