Escapade sous les aurores

Emplacement exceptionnel, repas du soir et petit déjeuner très bons et très variés, plein d’activités proposées. L’alerte aux aurores est top ! Elle nous a permis de ne pas les rater. Et on en a vus, même de notre chambre.

Le prix un peu trop élevé.

La vicinanza al lago, l'immersione totale nella natura è rigenerante ad ogni passo in questo posto. La stanza non era sul lago ma godevamo cmq di una bellissima vista...e la lontananza dalla città ti permette di vedere benissimo l'aurora boreale direttamente dal porticciolo sul lago. Sauna privata. Colazione eccellente. Luogo ben curato. Camino sempre acceso. Abbiamo cenato li entrambe le sere del soggiorno ed il cameriere e sempre stato gentile e disponibile.

Il lavandino del bagno era davvero troppo piccolo...ogni volta si faceva un lago a terra.

ロケーションが良いことと、静かでゆっくりした時間を過ごせる

ホテルの夕食がいろいろ食べてみたかったのですが、コースのみと言われて、味は良かったですが、自分たちの食べたいものを選びたかった。オーロラを見るのが目的なので、そういう情報がいただけるようなアナウンスとか、掲示板とか、アラームあるとかがあったらいいなと思う

オーロラが目的なら絶対選ぶべきホテル

2度目の利用でしたが、イナリではトップクラスのリゾート。市街地から徒歩35分ですが、ホテル前の広い歩道を一直線に歩くだけでスーパーがある市街地まで出れます。なんといっても街から遠いので街灯が少ないので、オーロラ目的なら最高のホテル。ホテルの目の前の湖畔沿いからオーロラが広がります。ホテルから直ぐにオーロラが見えるなんてアラスカやカナダではあり得ません。ここはツアーに参加することなく、ホテル上空にオーロラが出ました。2泊しましたが、幸運なことに２夜連続で濃いオーロラが頭上に見えました。11月下旬のオフシーズンだったのか、値段もホテルルーム1泊15000円程度で朝食込み。朝食は周辺他社ホテルより全然豪華で美味しかった。フィンランドはどこも同じような朝食ですが、生野菜もあり、美味しくいただけました。オーロラ目的なら選ぶべき宿です。

特にありませんが、部屋が少し暗く感じた。

イナリで朝食付きのホテルでは、ロケーションも朝食の質も一番

3度目の利用でしたが、スタッフは素晴らしく、朝食も美味しかった。日本ではお目にかかることが少ないライ麦パンは欧州では大人気。そしてここのライ麦パンはとても美味しい。バターだけでなくクリームチーズもありました。フルーツも豊富で、りんごは日本のリンゴのように柔らかく甘かった。水道水も軟水でとても美味しい。朝食に野菜炒めもありました。朝食の陳列の仕方がとてもよく、流石５スターリゾート。肝心のオーロラですが３日間のうち初日だけ観れました。ただ２日間は悪天候で、大雪で観れませんでした。光害が多いIvaloに滞在するより、数千円高いだけならこのホテルを選ぶべき。北側が暗いのでオーロラが出ると綺麗な写真が撮れます。

シャワーの水圧が弱かった。到着時、洗面台横の石鹸ボトルがはまってなくて、上に置かれてるだけでした。湯沸かし器に、前の客が使った後の水が入ったままだった。清掃をもう少ししっかりしてほしい

オーロラ鑑賞が目的ならベストなリゾート

オーロラに不要な光害が少なく周囲は暗く、オーロラを見るにはベストなホテルだった。街へ行くのに徒歩で30-40分かかるが、適度な運動ができた。本当に静かでレイクリゾートに相応しいホテルでした。水道水も飲めるし、美味しい。朝食は品数が多く、北欧ならではのミートボールにライ麦パンもあった。朝のコーヒーが美味しく感じた。スタッフはとても優しくフレンドリー。サウナは前面ガラス張りのIglooになるが30分利用の貸切で予約できる。オーロラはレストランからも見えることもあった。

朝食はイングリッシュブレックファーストだけれど野菜もたっぷり、ヨーグルトや甘さ控えめのベリーコンポート、ライ麦パンもあり美味しかった

イナリ湖畔でオーロラを観るベスト宿

歩いて3kmもある街中のホテルよりオーロラ観察や写真におさめたいなら、レストラン前の湖畔が丁度北向きなのでオーロラが豪快に見えました。街中だとどうしても光害で写真撮影には向きません。幹線道路から離れてるし街灯がないのでパーフェクト。朝食に生野菜をたくさん摂れます。

宿泊者ではないインド人ファミリーがキャンプバンで押しかけ、焚き火のスペースを使用したり、車のヘッドライトを湖側へ向けるなど悪質。宿泊者以外のキャンプバンの駐車場侵入を禁止にしてほしい

Very good

Friendly staff, Aurora Hut was cute. We stayed for 5 days. Breakfast was good, and we ate at the restaurant twice. It’s priced the same as other hotel restaurants around the Inari area.

Definitely need a fridge in the room. We stayed during the ‘summer’ (Sept), there’s no blinds or curtains over the glass so privacy is a bit scarce at that ‘end’ of the room. I’m assuming this would be the same during winter, as you’d have the lights turned on.

Painful activity experience

The scenery is beautiful right by the lake, boating experience is great, breakfast is abundant, room facilities are everything The staff at the front desk and restaurant are very friendly

Lemmenjoki National Park Day activity experience was terrible. First, I was thrown into the wrong location by the hotel pick-up driver in the rain forest, without any handover. I waited foolishly for nearly an hour until the Swedish lady who was traveling contacted the hotel.Then, like livestock, we got on a truck without seats and were pulled to the riverbank, where there was already a full ship of people waiting for us in the rain. Next, we sat on a speedboat in the heavy rain for an hour, and even though we were wearing raincoats, we were still soaked through.Finally, we arrived at the temporary resting camp, with almost no hiking. The guide lit a fire in the open air and provided lunch. Although the food and coffee were delicious and Sammy's story was captivating, we had to do it all in the rain, and then there was the equally terrifying rain boat return journey. Although the experience was unique, it was full of pain, and for the highly anticipated value of 321 euros, this experience was extremely mismatched.

Superb

We needed a place to rest after multiple days of hiking in the area - with comfortable beds, shower and good food. It met all our expectations, with very good quality. The place looked so new that we thought it was recently built, but apparently it's been serving for many years.

The air quality in the room wasn't that good. Either the air-conditioner wasn't working, or it wasn't enough.

Nice stay by the lake

The Wilderness Hotel Inari is a large property with multiple types of accommodation/ rooms. A chalet with rooms, individual aurora-cabins and other options. Great breakfast spread, lovely staff and a beautiful location right by lake Inari make this place highly sought after. Don't miss visiting the Sami Village at Inari, and Siida Museum!

The month of April is a lean-season to visit the Finnish Lapland. Winter activities have closed, auroras are mostly not visible, summer activities are yet to start, and most places are likely closed.

Exceptional

Amazing resort with really good view surrounded by the Lake Inari. We had a really comfortable stay. Staff were really nice and hospitable. Amazing breakfast and the restaurant also serves delicious food, although a bit expensive.

They were charging 10 euros per night for Aurora alert, which could probably be complementary.

Great location to see northern lights

Nice location just in front of the lake. You can see northern lights from there. Their private sauna was stunning.

After 2nd week of April, they close all winter activities. but in fact, there were several opinions which provided by local farm or companies. (I searched by myself and found a reindeer farm which is open.) It might be better if they could give more flexible activities as per the customer's request.

Superb

Hotel, staff, food and location were all really excellent! Highly recommended!

One day after breakfast we wanted to rent snowshoes in the hotel for a private activity which did not work out. The reception sent us to the activities desk where, however, no one was. We tried three times between 8.45 and 9.30 but there was no one there. We then went directly to the house where the rental equipment was provided. However, the guy there sent us back again to the reception, which sent us to the activities desk, and so on... Finally, we did not succeed to rent snowshoes at the hotel and had to rent them at another place in Inari. In sum, the hotel provides all material if you participate in booked activities. If you organize some activities by yourself, it might be better to not rely on the hotel.
