Convenient location to visit the Cave Temples on foot, and a walk to Bindunu Wewa Lake at sunset is also recommended. The house is surrounded by greenery in an extremely peaceful setting, and the stay includes a truly delicious dinner prepared by the host in the form of a cooking class. What remains as the most beautiful memory is the host’s incredible helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and kindness, with whom we also had the chance to share some fun and convivial moments. Kasun, le nouveau propriétaire des lieux, nous a extrêmement bien reçus. Il s est plié en 4 pour nous satisfaire. Nous avons pu bénéficier de prestation non prevues, très agréables. Les chambres sont basiques mais propres et assez grandes. Ne pas hésiter à choisir celle avec la clim, même si celle sans climatisation était aérée grâce à un ventilateur. Situé en retrait de la route principale, un petit jardin bien agréable avec une table et des chaises abritées sous une tonnelle, parfait pour un petit thé servi avec des gâteaux. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis choyés. Nous avons pris nos repas et petit déjeuner : prix très très correct, pour des mets de grande qualité. Nous avons même pu assister a la cuisson au feu de bois de notre repas. En conclusion, ce n est pas un palace mais le rapport qualité prix est excellent, ce n est vraiment pas cher par rapport au service dont nous avons bénéficié. Nous le recommandons chaudement.

Tuk tuk picked us up from Dambulla town and dropped us back in to catch the bus free of charge as advertised. Tissa was, I think, the bosses brother, who was our host. He did the best he could including making us a nice breakfast and making sure we had plenty of water.

I feel like I wasted time staying here. Wi-Fi had not been paid and then when it was connected had to keep signing in to it. The ' boss ' was very interested in getting us to do tours. Be aware. Supposed to get free cooking classes included but we did not. On the second night when they had told us we would cook dinner at 530pm and we waited and waited, then I called the owner at around who 7pm said there were no shops open to buy fruit and veggies, but I saw many vegetables stalls open plus the massive vegetable market was in full swing. He said no madam you can go and get rice and curry take away. Bear in mind this place is in the middle of nowhere and we were unable to find a number for a tuk tuk to pick us up. It took the best part of an hour to try and contact pizza hut to see if they would deliver and if they could even find the place! I couldn't get out of here quick enough!!
